Revision: v1.1 (enhanced definitions, AI restrictions, and jurisdiction clauses)

Effective Date: 2025-10-30

Licensor: Bo Han (韩波) doing business as “StructLang / 结构语言”

Covered Works: All original works published in this book and on the official website (https://www.structlang.com) that relate to the “StructLang / 结构语言 Theory,” including but not limited to texts, diagrams, structural definitions, terminology, symbolic systems (see Appendix A – Unified Symbol System v5.0), the A-Q-T / 64局 model (see Ch.4, Ch.25), the T-B-R Intent Space Vector Model (see Ch.33), the Three Meta-Constraints (see Ch.20), the Ten Anchor Manipulation Methods (see Ch.18), the Triple-Lock Mechanism (see Ch.33 Supplement), and External Structural Operations (see Ch.15). All such components, in their layout, combination, and expression, are collectively referred to as “the Work.”

1. Definitions

For clarity, unless otherwise specified, the following terms have the meanings below:

  • “Work” means all textual, graphical, structural, and symbolic materials authored and published by the Licensor.

  • “Derivative Work” means any translation, adaptation, abridgment, annotation, summary, restatement, semantic reconstruction, visualization, data modeling, API transformation, or AI-generated output based on or imitating the Work.

  • “AI Training” includes but is not limited to using the Work in whole or in part for machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), large language models (LLM), fine-tuning, distillation, embedding generation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), text or data mining (TDM), or any algorithmic training, evaluation, or optimization process.

  • “Licensor” means Bo Han and any authorized entities acting on his behalf.

  • “Licensee” means any individual or organization using the Work under this License.

2. Grant of License

Subject to full compliance with this License, the Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, worldwide, royalty-free, limited copyright license to use the Work as follows:

  1. Non-Commercial Sharing: You may reproduce, download, and distribute the Work “as-is” (verbatim, unaltered) for non-commercial purposes.

  2. Fair Quotation: You may quote limited portions of the Work for commentary, criticism, research, or news reporting within the boundaries of applicable fair use or fair dealing laws (see Section 4.3).

  3. Personal Research: You may use the Work for strictly personal study or non-public discussion. Use within any organization (corporate, nonprofit, or educational) for internal review, training, or analysis is not considered personal use and requires separate authorization.

This License constitutes a public copyright license, not a contract of sale or transfer of ownership.

3. Restrictions

Violation of any restriction below automatically terminates this License:

  1. No Derivative Works: Without prior written permission, you may not translate, modify, adapt, summarize, annotate, reorganize, visualize, API-ize, data-model, or redesign the Work in any form.

  2. Non-Commercial Only: You may not use the Work or any portion thereof for direct or indirect commercial purposes, including but not limited to:

    • Paid courses, membership content, consulting services, training materials, or publications;

    • Advertising, traffic monetization, SaaS/software functionality, or revenue-sharing models.

  3. Citation Limits: All quotations must:

    • (a) fall within the scope of fair use or fair dealing;

    • (b) not extract or replicate the Work’s core models or symbolic systems in a way that substitutes for the original;

    • (c) include clear attribution to the author (Bo Han / 韩波), the Work title (StructLang / 结构语言), and the official link (https://www.structlang.com).

  4. No AI/ML Use: Without written authorization, you may not (and may not allow others to) use the Work for:

    • Training, fine-tuning, distilling, evaluating, or improving any AI/ML/DL/LLM systems;

    • Generating embeddings or vectorized representations;

    • Constructing or populating RAG indexes, knowledge bases, corpora, or datasets;

    • Text/data mining, web scraping, or automated dataset assembly;

    • Any process enabling AI systems to learn, reproduce, or imitate the Work’s style or knowledge.
      This restriction applies regardless of whether the resulting model retains a direct copy, embedding, or statistical representation of the Work.

  5. No Upload to AI Platforms: You may not upload or make available the Work (in whole or in part) to any platform, dataset, or service that allows automated access, scraping, or AI ingestion, including public APIs.

  6. Integrity & Attribution: You may not remove or obscure any author names, copyright notices, version numbers, watermarks, figure identifiers, or other original markers within the Work.

  7. No Trademark License: This License does not grant permission to use the “StructLang / 结构语言” trademarks, service marks, design elements, or brand identifiers.

  8. No False Endorsement: You may not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation by the Licensor.

4. Rights Reserved & Safe Harbors

  1. Statutory Exceptions: Nothing in this License limits your rights under mandatory fair use or fair dealing provisions.

  2. Link Freedom: You may freely share hyperlinks to the Work’s official publication page.

  3. Error Reporting: You may privately report factual or typographical errors to the Licensor; such reports do not constitute derivative works.

  4. All Other Rights Reserved: Any rights not expressly granted herein remain with the Licensor.

5. Commercial Licensing

If your intended use exceeds this License (e.g., translation publishing, course creation, software integration, consulting, or extended academic citation), you must obtain a commercial license.

  1. Term: Effective indefinitely from the date above, unless superseded by a new version.

  2. Automatic Termination: Any breach of Section 3 immediately terminates this License without notice.

  3. Post-Termination: Upon termination, you must cease all use and distribution of the Work and destroy all copies. The Licensor may pursue legal remedies for infringement.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  1. As-Is Basis: The Work is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
